What is The Horror Club?

A website dedicated to all things horror. We hope to entertain you with writer showcases that include interviews. We will have film reviews, features and so on. All so you can enjoy the feast of horror!  We hope that you find frightening things on this site, but in an entertaining way.

For general enquiries, please contact thehorrorclub(at)hotmail.com, with the subject line General Enquiries followed by any questions you may have.

The site has two sections. Number one Novels/Comics/Other and number two is TV and Film.

If you are unsure if our site fits your work, eg – genre etc, pop us an email and we’ll discuss it with you. Also, we have dipped into the sci-fi genre a few times.

SECTION ONE:

BOOK/MAGAZINE REVIEWS:

If you are a self-published author/indie-press/magazine and would like us to review your book/latest issue, please send us an email with the subject line Book Review, and 1-2 line summary of your story (for magazines, let us know if it’s themed). In terms of the file, ePub or MOBI is preferred.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW:

If you would like us to interview you, please send an email with the subject line Author Interview, and 3-5 lines about yourself, plus links to your work and social media/site.

GUEST POST:

FILM REVIEWS:

If you are a filmmaker/screenwriter/indie studio and would like us to review your latest film/short film, please send an email with the subject line Film Review, and a 1-2 lines synopsis. Please provide a link to the film via email.

FILMMAKER INTERVIEW:

If you would like us to interview you, please send an email with the subject line Filmmaker Interview, and 3-5 lines about yourself, plus links to your work and social media/site.

EDITOR:

Stephen is a recent graduate of the first ever Creative Writing for Digital Media program at the Institute of Technology, Tralee. A horror enthusiast, he has watched movies nobody has watched, read books nobody has read. Annoyed by such events, he hopes to showcase such works and build an audience for them.
