Anthology based films have been on the rise over the last few years, with Trick r Treat and V/H/S coming to mind. It’s always been an interesting concept with some better than others. We are set to see another one, this time Ghost Stories, which will be released in cinemas in early 2018.
The official synopsis goes: Arch skeptic Professor Phillip Goodman (played by Andy Nyman, one half of of the team who directed and wrote the movie) embarks upon a terror-filled quest when he stumbles across a long-lost file containing details of three cases of inexplicable ‘hauntings’.
The story was first an Olivier nominated play (by the film’s writers and directors), which had a run on the West End in London, and Nyman will be joined by Martin Freeman, Alex Lawther and Paul Whitehouse for acting duties.
