Do you think short films have become too short and snappy? Would you rather sit down and watch one where the story can breathe and be fleshed out? Then, we have a film for you!
The official synopsis for Eaglewalk, which just comes in under half an hour, is in the summer of 1971, three campers defy local legend and desecrate an ancient totem pole in the woods surrounding Camp Eaglewalk, unleashing the fury of a mysterious creature that kills two of them. Ten years later, emotionally damaged and determined to convince himself there’s no such thing as monsters, Elliot, the sole survivor of that night, returns along with a handful of counsellors to reopen the now-abandoned summer camp. What follows is a 24-hour nightmare of terror!
If that doesn’t entice you, then we don’t know what will! The film is directed and written by Rob Himsbaugh and stars Christopher Emerson, Matt Lasky and KC Wright. The film was an official selection for Screamfest LA. Go on, check it out!
