Halloween is back, and it’s slashing through the Box Office in a big and scary way. Per BoxOfficeMojo, the film has made an estimated 91.8m in worldwide grosses, with 77.5m coming from North America and 14.3 coming from other territories.
The 10m production currently has a fresh Rotten Tomatoes score of 80%, a Metacritic score of 68%, while audiences North America gave it a B+ Cinemascore (a high rating for horror pics). Adding in that the namesake holiday takes place next week, it seems the film will have lengthy legs throughout its run.
A sequel is more than likely going to be greenlit, as both, audiences and critics, loved the film. What did you think of it? Let us know.
