One Sentence Reviews 1 – Candyman (1992)

Welcome to One Sentence Reviews, a new series where The Horror Club visits classic films, some dating back to the ’50s or before, some more recent, and give them either a thumbs up or a thumbs down with the review. Short and sweet, and right to the point.

First up is Candyman.

Synopsis: Intrigued by local legends, Helen investigates the myths and superstitions surrounding the one-armed Candyman. However, she confronts her worst nightmare when a series of murders start taking place.

Rating:👍

Review: a smart horror, driven mostly by the masterful Tony Todd in the titular role.

Tune back in tomorrow where we will review another film in just one sentence.
