IT’S so easy to get lost in the Kindle store, with there being so many books to choose from. While that is a good thing, it doesn’t necessarily mean you find the right book for you. So, The Horror Club searched through the store, and found five Kindle books available for free. Nothing better than free horror, right? Not only this, but it’s also a great way to introduce yourself to new authors.
1) Horror Stories: Scare Street Book 4 (ed. by Emma Salem)
This is book four in Scare Street’s Horror Stories collections; but the great thing about anthologies and short stories collections is that you normally wouldn’t have to have read the previous books in the series.
This collection features authors Ron Ripley, David Longhorn, Eric Whittle, Sara Clancy and A. I. Nasser, with stories highlighting a young woman’s night-time escapade going eerily wrong and a man forced to relive a horrible that tore his family apart over and over again, among others.

2) The Dark Man by Desmond Doane
Released in 2017, this is book one of the The Graveyward: Classified Paranormal Series from Desmond Doane, and it can be the perfect introduction to not only the series, but his overall work.
The book sees Ford Atticus Ford, former host of the ghost-hunting reality show Graveyard: Classified, assist police departments in conducting paranormal investigations in a bid to seek redemption after a terrible accident cost him his hit show and the life of a young girl.

3) Sour Milk by Morgan Delaney
Released only a few weeks ago on October 2nd, this is a standalone story that clocks in at 55 pages.
In Sour Milk, Lee is sent to the orphanage Lamb House after his parents die; but all is not what it seems in his new home, with the children fearing this mysterious window mannequin more so than the abusive Miss Dunne, who runs the house.

4) Berkley Street by Ron Ripley
Coming from Scare Street again, Ron Ripley’s Berkley Street is book one in the nine-part Berkley Street series, and is the perfect opportunity to check what it’s all about.
In Berkley Street, Shane Ryan return back to his family home, which his came in possession of after a long legal battle with his aunt and uncle; but they soon disappear, and he becomes the prime suspect. He must dig deep into the secrets of the family house, and soon he realises that this place is more alive than some of it inhabitants.

5) Heaven’s Peak by Miguel Estrada
Heaven’s Peak is the first novel from Venezuelan author Miguel Estrada and tells the story of Keven Miller, a teenage photographer, who witnesses the kidnapping of his younger sister by a strange creature. The police don’t believe his story, so he sets out to piece the mystery together; but a blizzard is coming.
