One Sentence Reviews – Book of Monsters

Welcome to eighth One Sentence Reviews, a series where The Horror Club visits classic films, some dating back to the ’50s or before, some more recent, and give them either a thumbs up or a thumbs down with the review. Short and sweet, and right to the point.

Next up is Book of Monsters (2019).

Synopsis: Sophie’s 18th birthday becomes a bloodbath when monsters descend upon her house and start to devour the party guests.

Rating: šŸ‘

Review:Ā It’s a fun throwback to the campy ’80s B movies, driven by the performances of Lyndsey Craine and Michaela Longden.
